1. Acceptance of Host Terms
By submitting an event or acting as a host on Meet then Match (“Platform”), you agree to comply with these Host Terms & Conditions (“Host Terms”), the general Terms of Service, and all applicable platform policies.
Meet then Match operates as a technology marketplace that facilitates participant bookings for independently operated events. The Platform does not organize, operate, supervise, or control events.
Meet then Match reserves the right to approve or reject any host application at its sole discretion.
2. Host Status – Independent Provider
Hosts act as independent service providers.
Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship, agency, joint venture, or partnership between the Host and Meet then Match.
The Host retains full control over the planning, operation, and execution of the event.
The Host has no authority to bind Meet then Match to any agreement or obligation.
3. Host Eligibility & Standards
Hosts must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Conduct events professionally and responsibly
- Ensure venues are appropriate and compliant with applicable health and safety laws
- Obtain all necessary permits and licenses
- Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations
Hosts represent and warrant that:
- The venue complies with applicable safety standards
- Equipment used is safe and properly maintained
- Any staff or instructors are qualified
- The event complies with all legal requirements
Meet then Match may suspend or terminate host privileges at any time.
4. Event Submission Standards
All submitted events must:
- Accurately describe the activity
- Clearly state location and time
- Reflect realistic capacity limits
- Align with the Platform’s mission
- Be designed for single participants seeking social connection
- Hosts are responsible for keeping event information accurate at all times.
5. Platform Review & Approval
All events are subject to review and approval by Meet then Match before publication.
Meet then Match reserves the right to:
- Modify event descriptions for clarity or compliance
- Request additional information
- Decline or remove events at its discretion
Approval of an event does not constitute endorsement or assumption of liability.
6. Cancellation & Operational Discretion
Meet then Match reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or reschedule any event, including after tickets have been sold, for reasons including but not limited to:
- Safety concerns
- Host misconduct
- Quality control issues
- Participant complaints
- Insufficient attendance
- Gender imbalance
- Operational or reputational concerns
Hosts acknowledge that platform integrity and participant experience take priority.
7. 48-Hour Attendance & Balance Evaluation
Minimum attendance and gender balance requirements are evaluated 48 hours prior to the scheduled event time.
If requirements are not met, the Platform may reschedule or cancel the event.
Hosts agree to cooperate with rescheduling decisions.
8. Quality & Conduct Expectations
Hosts are responsible for:
- Creating a welcoming and respectful environment
- Monitoring participant behavior during the event
- Enforcing the Code of Conduct
- Reporting serious incidents to the Platform
Hosts must not:
- Discriminate unlawfully
- Encourage inappropriate conduct
- Allow unsafe conditions
- Engage in unprofessional behavior
Repeated quality complaints may result in suspension or termination.
9. Platform Review Attendance
Meet then Match reserves the right to attend any hosted event for quality assurance, safety monitoring, and service improvement purposes.
Such attendance does not reduce the event’s advertised ticket capacity unless otherwise determined by the Platform.
10. Payment Structure
Payment terms shall be determined by the Platform and communicated to the Host.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Participant payments are processed through the Platform
- Host compensation is calculated based on valid ticket sales
- Payment is issued after event completion
- Processing fees and applicable deductions may apply
If an event is cancelled due to host misconduct or quality concerns, compensation may be withheld.
11. Host Responsibility & Assumption of Risk
Hosts are independent event organizers.
The Host assumes full responsibility for:
- Venue arrangements
- Venue compliance
- Compliance with local regulations
- Required permits
- Maintain valid public liability insurance covering bodily injury and property damage arising from the event, in accordance with minimum coverage requirements set by the Platform.
- On-site safety
- Event safety
- Participant supervision
- Equipment
- Third-party services
Meet then Match does not assume liability for host actions, execution of events, venue issues, or third-party services. The Platform provides booking and payment facilitation only.
Proof of insurance must be provided to the Platform upon request and prior to event approval.
12. Termination of Host Privileges
Meet then Match may suspend or terminate a host’s access at any time, with or without notice, for:
- Policy violations
- Repeated participant complaints
- Misconduct
- Harm to platform reputation
Termination does not create liability for lost future income.
13. Independent Relationship
Hosts act as independent contractors and are not employees, partners, or agents of Meet then Match.
Nothing in these Terms creates a joint venture or employment relationship.
14. Indemnification
The Host agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Meet then Match, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, settlements, judgments, penalties, regulatory fines, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or related to:
- The Host’s event
- Personal injury or property damage
- Host negligence or misconduct
- Breach of these Terms
- Violation of applicable laws
This indemnification obligation survives termination of these Terms.
15. Survival
The provisions relating to indemnification, limitation of liability, and governing law shall survive termination of these Terms.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Meet then Match shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages.
In no event shall Meet then Match’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms exceed the total fees paid to the Host for the specific event giving rise to the claim.
17. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- War or civil unrest
- Government restrictions
- Public health emergencies
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Each country-specific Meet then Match website operates under the laws of the country in which it is registered.
Any dispute arising under these Host Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.
19. Agreement
By submitting an event, the Host confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Host Terms & Conditions.
