Community & Safety Guidelines

Meet then Match

At Meet then Match, we believe meaningful connection happens best in real life — through shared experiences, respectful interaction, and intentional presence.

Our events are designed to bring single people together in a structured, safe, and welcoming environment.

These Community & Safety Guidelines reflect the culture we are building.

Our Philosophy

We are not a messaging platform.
We are not endless swiping.

We believe in:

• Real-world interaction
• Meaningful pursuit
• Respectful communication
• Personal responsibility
• Quality over quantity

Every participant contributes to the atmosphere of the event.

What We Expect From Participants

Be Present

Show up with intention.
Be open to conversation.
Engage sincerely.

This is not passive dating. It’s active connection.

Be Respectful

Respect boundaries.
Respect differences.
Respect rejection.

Interest is welcome. Pressure is not.

Be Honest

Attend only if you are genuinely single.
Represent yourself truthfully.
Come with clear intentions.

Authenticity builds trust.

Be Balanced

These events rely on attendance balance and mutual effort.
Last-minute cancellations and no-shows affect everyone.

Commit thoughtfully.

Safety Culture

Meet then Match is committed to maintaining a safe environment.

While we cannot control individual behavior, we actively:

• Monitor event feedback
• Review hosts
• Enforce conduct standards
• Remove participants when necessary

If you feel uncomfortable at any event, you may:

• Speak to the host
• Contact the platform directly

Safety concerns are taken seriously.

Platform Presence

Meet then Match may attend events for quality assurance and safety monitoring.

Our goal is continuous improvement and maintaining a high standard of experience.

Gender Balance & Event Integrity

We design events with balance and experience in mind.

If attendance numbers or gender balance are not sufficient 48 hours before an event, we may reschedule to preserve the quality of the experience.

This protects everyone’s time and expectations.

Zero Tolerance Policy

We do not tolerate:

• Harassment
• Aggression
• Discrimination
• Intimidation
• Repeated unwanted attention

Violations may result in removal from an event and permanent removal from the platform.

After the Event

We encourage:

• Respectful follow-up
• Direct and clear communication
• Graceful acceptance if interest is not mutual

The goal is real connection — not ego validation.

A Different Kind of Dating Culture

Meet then Match is built for people who:

• Prefer depth over distraction
• Value real interaction
• Want structured opportunities to meet
• Believe connection requires effort

If that resonates with you, you’re in the right place.
