Meet then Match

1. Purpose

Meet then Match is committed to creating safe, respectful, and enjoyable in-person experiences for single people.

By attending any event, you agree to uphold this Code of Conduct.

Failure to comply may result in removal from the event and suspension or termination of your account without refund.


2. Respectful Behavior

All participants must:

  • Treat others with courtesy and respect
  • Engage in conversation in a polite and appropriate manner
  • Respect personal boundaries
  • Refrain from aggressive, discriminatory, or offensive behavior

Disrespectful conduct will not be tolerated.


3. Harassment Policy

Harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Unwanted sexual advances
  • Persistent unwanted attention
  • Inappropriate touching
  • Verbal intimidation
  • Threats
  • Derogatory or discriminatory remarks
  • Stalking behavior

If someone declines interest, you must respect that decision immediately.


4. Consent Standards

Meet then Match operates on a clear principle:

Consent must be voluntary, clear, and ongoing.

Participants must:

  • Obtain clear consent before any physical contact
  • Immediately stop any behavior if consent is withdrawn
  • Respect verbal and non-verbal boundaries

Intoxication is not an excuse for violating consent standards.


5. Safety Expectations

Participants are responsible for their own personal safety and judgment.

Meet then Match does not conduct background checks on participants and does not guarantee the behavior of any individual.

We encourage:

  • Meeting in public areas of the event space
  • Avoiding excessive alcohol consumption
  • Leaving the event if you feel uncomfortable

If you experience inappropriate behavior, notify the host or contact the platform immediately.


6. Removal from Event

Meet then Match reserves the right to remove any participant from an event if they:

  • Violate this Code of Conduct
  • Engage in disruptive behavior
  • Create discomfort or safety concerns
  • Appear excessively intoxicated
  • Refuse to follow host or platform instructions

Removal may occur without warning and without refund.


7. No-Show Policy

Participants who repeatedly register and fail to attend without notice may:

  • Receive warnings
  • Have booking privileges restricted
  • Have their account suspended

Consistent no-shows negatively impact event balance and participant experience.


8. Misrepresentation

Participants must attend events only if they are genuinely single and not in a committed relationship.

Participants must not:

  • Provide false age, relationship status, or identity information
  • Misrepresent their intentions
  • Attend events while in a committed relationship

Meet then Match reserves the right to remove users who misrepresent themselves.


9. Alcohol & Substance Use

If alcohol is present at an event:

  • Participants must consume responsibly
  • Excessive intoxication may result in removal
  • Illegal substances are strictly prohibited

10. Post-Event Conduct

Respectful behavior extends beyond the event.

Harassment or misconduct toward participants outside the event context may result in platform action if reported and substantiated.


11. Reporting Violations

If you experience or witness misconduct:

  • Notify the event host immediately
  • Or contact Meet then Match via [Insert Email]

Reports will be reviewed seriously and confidentially.


12. Enforcement

Meet then Match may, at its sole discretion:

  • Issue warnings
  • Remove participants from events
  • Suspend accounts
  • Permanently ban users

Safety and platform integrity take priority over individual participation.


13. Agreement

By registering for an event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Code of Conduct.
